Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA)

• Director General of School Education (D.G.S.E.) cum State project director Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan authority, Punjab has signed MOU with Amandeep Hospital in year 2010 for surgical correction of children with orthopedic Impairment /Cerebral Palsy.
• Total 378 number of students have been operated till date.

Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Mission Society

• Every year hospital gives Rs.60,000/- (Sixty Thousand Rupees) as financial aid to society.
• Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Mission Society is providing free medicine to number of poor patients being treated by Amandeep Hospital free of cost for the past 15 years.

Live Theatre

• Amandeep Hospital is regularly contributing financially to the live theatre of city i.e. Virsa Vihar, Manch Rang Manch and theatre persons to educate people against social and health evils

Blood Donation Camps

• Amandeep Hospital is regularly organizing blood donation camps in association with blood bank Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, Amritsar.
• Regularly motivating staff for blood donation.
• Around 450 units of blood have been donated by hospital staff since Oct 2010 in 5 camps.

Rotary Club

• Amandeep Hospital accepts recommendation of Rotary club in district 3070 for treatment of poor patients at concessional rates.

Sports

• Hospital is providing free check up and treatment facilities to sports person of Maharaja Ranjit Singh hockey academy for last 10 years.
• The hospital is regularly contributing financially for running the academy

First aid Training

• • The basic life support team of hospital is working on a mission of providing first aid training to:

Students : Schools, Colleges and Universities.
Police Personal
Voluntary associations.

• Audio visual presentation is followed by Hands on training on dummies in this project.
• Finally the trainee is awarded with certificate.
• The First aid project is being carried out in state of Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir

Medical Camps

• Free medical camps are organized by Amandeep hospital in remote area of Punjab, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir in association with local NGOs.
• Patients are provided free medicines and free investigations in these camps.
• Free/Subsidized surgeries are also arranged for the camp patients.
• Patients recommended by NGOs are treated at concessional/ complementary rates.

Yateem Khana

Amandeep Hospital is regularly conducting public seminars on followings:

• First Aid
• Traffic awareness
• Arthritis
• Obesity
• Hazards of smoking
• Health awareness seminar.

For traffic safety Amandeep hospital has pasted more than 25,000 reflectors behind the public transport vehicles

Concessional Treatment

• Amandeep hospital is providing free medical awareness program for senior citizens.
• Under the project Chinmaya Amandeep healthcare hospital is providing subsidized treatment to the elderly citizens.
• Amandeep Hospital has donated Rs.6,00,000 (Rupees Six Lacs ) for the welfare of silver citizens of society to Chinmaya mission bhavan in Amritsar

Punjab Police

• Amandeep Hospital in association with Punjab Police organized first aid training camp for police officials for 7 days (15/04/13 to 21/04/13).
• 450 Police officials were trained under project “Save Lives”.
• Hospital donated Rs.1,00,000 (One lakh rupees ) to police welfare fund.
• Amandeep Hospital provided 200 barricades and other traffic safety material to Amritsar Rural police.
• Hospital in association with Amritsar police celebrated first aid “Pandarwara” a 15 days first training program for Amritsar Urban police personal from 1/4/13 to 15/4/13.
• Tarantaran Police personal were trained by basic life support team members from 1/6/13 to 16/6/13 at police line Tarantaran.

Indian Army

• Amandeep hospital and Indian Army is working together for the welfare of War widows and their dependents.
• A mega camp was organized in Chamba, Himachal Pardesh on 8th May 2013.
• A team of specialists from the hospital visited ASHA School ( School for children with special needs). Doctors examined the children and clinical psychologist counseled the parents.
• The staff members of the school, army personal and hospital team members had a detailed discussion on education and rehabilitation of the children.

Education

Amandeep hospital was recognized PG and Post Doctoral PG degrees by National Board of Examination, Government of India in subjects of Orthopedics, Anesthesia and Plastic Surgery. Till now following number of students have completed their 3 years PG courses :

• Orthopedics 4
• Anesthesia 6
• Plastic Surgery 2

Hospital runs Paramedic diploma and degree courses.
Various Paramedical courses are being run in association with Punjab Technical University and Karnataka State University.

• Overall trophy at 8th Annual convocation on hospital and Disaster management held at Mumbai on 11-12 March, 2010.
• Overall trophy at 12th Annual convocation on hospital and disaster management held at Bangalore on 17-18 January, 2014.

Best Presentation Award at 6th Annual convocation on hospital and Disaster management held at Srinagar on 31st March and 1st April 2008.

Outstanding performance award in community welfare at 10th Annual convocation on hospital and disaster management held at Hyderabad on 24-25 January,2012.

Got the Appreciation certificate from Ladakh Buddhist Association for helping flash flood victims in August 2010.
